TIP: Soak for 10 minutes or longer for a nurturing, easy-to-digest muesli.

To make Bircher muesli, soak overnight in water or milk, add yoghurt, grated apple and other fresh fruit before serving.

Makes a lovely porridge too: add 3/4 cup of water to 1/2 cup muesli per person.
