Wheat – Purple Straw

An Australian grown certified Demeter Biodynamic soft textured “heritage” wheat.  It’s known for its distinctive purple hue in the straw and grain, as well as its lighter protein profile and mild, almost creamy flavour.

Ideal for baking cakes, biscuits and pastries where a softer wheat is preferred.

Easily stored for long periods with its nutritional value intact. Commonly used for home milling and sprouting.
